Heartiest congratulations to UNIMAS together with BESarawak for successfully won the right to host the 54th Asia Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health (APACPH) in Kuching 30 Oct - 1 Nov 2023.
Despite COVID19 & Rabies, majority of fellow Sarawakian didn’t realise Public Health is as important as Hospitals health care as it goes beyond merely preventing and treating diseases, but also about giving everyone access to the right healthcare services and facilities. In fact, public health is a crucial aspect of our daily lives in protecting and improving the well-being of the people.
First time ever for APACPH to host in Sarawak. Hopefully with the experts from this conference, it will further enhance the Public Health team of Sarawak despite from the #jungle of #Borneo is already well recognised and acknowledged by the WHO Western Pacific.
//恭贺砂大成功获得第54届公共卫生亚太学术机构大会主办权,从10月30日至11月1日在古晋举行。这项大会是有史以来首次在砂拉越举行,希望凝聚各地专家,加强砂拉越公共卫生服务。
虽然经历冠病疫情和出现狂犬病,但大多数砂拉越同胞们并没有意识到公共卫生与医疗保健同等重要,它不仅仅是预防和治疗疾病,还让每个人都能获得正确医疗保健服务和设施。
